In this new House Flipping 101 video, you'll discover how to go driving for dollars in order to generate free leads for your real estate business.

Steps for Driving for Dollars:

Step 1: Choose your farming area- Your farming area is the area where you are looking to invest in real estate (or where your cash buyers are currently purchasing).

Step 2: Print out a map of the area. Then highlight that specific area on the map.

Quick Note: The map should have the streets in the area listed as well./

Step 3: Drive at least 10 full streets weekly. While you're driving, be sure to look for properties that are vacant, needs work, have newspapers and other stuff piled up on the porch, have stickers or notices on the windows, etc.

Step 4: Take down the addresses of those properties and then go to your local tax accessor's site to find out who owns the property.

Step 5: Send them a yellow letter expressing your interest in the property.

Follow the steps above in order to start finding properties when you're driving for dollars. This strategy works best in areas where the average price of a rehabbed home is $125,000 or less.

    I love your videos on REO”S and Wholesaling. I am a wholesaler here in the Houston Tx area. I wanted to ask you have you ever done any wholesaling in rural small country towns? If so is there any difference in wholesaling in small towns and big cities besides the obvious population diffrence?
